Campaign used email, SMS, and voice calls to trick targets into divulging master passwords.

Why would you ever divulge your master password to anyone? There’s not a reason to. Even if you die, you can set for someone else to get access to your account after X number of days, all without giving your master password.
that’s phishing, it’s not like users were knowingly giving away their password
