The Olympic champions Canada get their Women's World Cup campaign back on track with a win in Perth. Earlier, Spain thrash Zambia at Eden Park and Japan beat Costa Rica at the Women's World Cup.

Ireland were looking really good. They scored in the first few minutes and led for the first half of the game.

The game was a lot closer than the 2-1 score suggests. Not sure whether the rain played a part, but it was pretty cold and miserable tonight.
