Literally the only reactions I’ve ever seen to the Battery Daddy are…
- “I refuse to believe something this stupid is a real product and not a gag.”
And
- “I instantly know this is the best product I will ever buy and need it immediately.”
Two is the correct view by the way.
Charge me, daddy
For those trips to the beach!
“Honey, you got a 9 volt?”
“Of course I do! Wait a minute… Oh, I thought I ran out but I do have one left. Lemme test it… It’s low. How dare they.”
“What? Do you have one? I couldn’t hear you.”
“Of course I do!”
.
Amazing lol. I want one now
My biggest problem is the C and D battery packs are so large at Costco that I can only fit maybe half in the daddy. Then the half full package has to live somewhere for 6 months because I hardly use those sizes outside of certain times of the year.
but where’s the battery mommy
i have one of these so that’s me!
They cancelled the project because they were worried BATTERY MOMMY would get banned in the red states as an offense against G-d.
Digging through the junk drawer is sometimes the only fleeting moments of peace I have in a day.
I love it, but there’s just too many great 3-D printable battery holders to fuel and justify that other purchase.
they call me the same thing around town but for different reasons
BATTERY CADDY
Caddery
I bought some collection of assorted stackable rubbermade containers and lids for food, but it included like 3 more of one of the smallish sizes (a pint-ish+). so I labeled them for various battery sizes and loaded em up.
I am a big nerd for organizing spaces for function so I can appreciate the impulse for this, but it strikes me as a bit over specialized and limited in adaptability to a household’s battery consumption.
We had one of these at my previous job, it was great, no more needing to look around the unit for batteries, and if we’re getting low, it’s easy to tell.
Baddy
I sold them at my previous job and we use one at my current job. I’d never need one of these at home as I rarely use batteries for anything but they are handy at work.
