America might finally be able to watch the spectacle of a former president being criminally indicted live on their television and phone screens. A judge in Fulton County, Georgia -- where a grand jury is contemplating that exact indictment -- ruled Monday morning to allow cameras in the courtroom if and when such indictment occurs.
Does anyone know why they don’t allow cameras in federal courtrooms? I’m curious if there’s a good reason for it, or if it’s one of these weird laws from a time before cameras.

I believe cameras aren’t allowed in federal courtrooms because it prevents jurors from being identified and threatened/blackmailed.
I’m going to assume it’s because of the shitshow that was the OJ trial.
