how do you create a community on Lemmy? I’m not necessarily interested in making one and actively maintaining it but just curious.

ah thanks for this, I’ll have to check on PC. ive been using Lemmy pretty much only on mobile through boost.
There’s a few features I haven’t seen many apps include for whatever reason. The instance’s modlog and the list of instances an instance is federated/defederated with are neat features Lemmy has that I can’t find on most apps.
Just a heads up: Some instances don’t allow creation of new communities by non-admins. If the “Create Community” option isn’t there, you’re probably on one of those instances.
