Pro tip from one Linux noob to another, chatgpt allowed me to take the leap from not understanding Linux well enough to make it work on my own to making it work and doing a few advanced things.
Chatgpt has pretty decent usefulness even without buying the subscription nowdays if you don’t want to do that, so glad I did this!
Hmm I don’t think I did, I think I am allowed to have a different perspective.
It is easier for marginalized people to point the flaws out and forget about it but I think it makes more sense to try to meet it with understanding and then moving on.
That is what combining multiple perspectives will do :)

When I went into the community briefly both on github and discord I was met with immense help to my problems with hyprland (which I now don’t use just because I realized I didn’t need to mess with window management)
If I recall vaxry is young and has some social nuance to learn, this doesn’t excuse behaviors but I can choose to accept a solid attempt at handling a wrongdoing.

Anyone looking to take their health more seriously should just pick a habit or two from this list and see the difference it makes to realize that they really should have just hunkered down, got disciplined and do the rest of these habits routinely.
The difference is pretty incredible and I wish I had done these things sooner but I had so much mistrust in the health space that I never looked into it to find people providing valuable efforts.
I once read somewhere that mentioned how Lemmy is actually bigger than reddit was at the same age. I don’t know if that is true or not but that’s pretty cool if it is and I think it means Lemmy is on a good track.

Bryan Johnson has been teaching me so many things that have always confused me, I never got into health at all because I saw too many sleezy people on the internet and couldn’t trust anyone to give this advice but I’m so glad I’ve found his content, its totally changed my life for the better, I tried some of his products eventually too and it was like a lightbulb moment and I realized the difference between being healthy and not feels like my body telling me I feel good.

For those of you looking for adobe alternatives the affinity suite is quite good too, I don’t think it is open source and it is not free but you can make a lifetime license purchase that is not really all that expensive, I think it is one of the best adobe alternatives at the moment because it is so similar both in tools and the ecosystem.
At the moment the rest are all ones that compete with specific adobe apps like darktable being better than lightroom as an example.
I like gimp but all of these software alternatives will just land in a similar spot where the only cohesiveness is that the files can be exported/imported between eachother.
