It’s deeply funny that people here somehow think they’re talking about they’re talking about genericizing art styles, CalArtifying faces, or eliminating Japanese cultural references.
They’re talking about censoring pedophilia, fan service creepshots, and other pervert shit in order to appeal to a broader global audience of non-creeps. That’s why chuds are mad about it, because they think it’s woke if they can’t see a 14 year old’s underwear.

Anyway I think I support this move uncritically? The weird perv shit is easily what I hate most about manga, anime and all the games descended from said. It feels a bit weird that the international market has to drag manga & anime kicking and screaming to normalcy, but maybe this means a new Etrian Oddysey or Disgaea won’t have so many suspiciously child-looking scantily clad characters? Or at least anime won’t =)
