What the author fails to mention is that Sony is about to release PS5 Pro this Autumn so why would they be in a hurry to release PS6? Just because Micro$oft did it? Last quarter PS5 has been outselling Xbox 5:1, the only way for Microsoft to make any decent money now is to release their games on their rival’s console, so a rumoured release of a new console in 2 years is not going to change too much, I think.
