I like it, i know there’s not a lot of people, but it feels comfortable. I’m happy. I guess we can focus more on quality than quantity.

I just want there to be more people; more discussion; more disagreement. More is always better.

So, ultimately, you could say I really like it a lot overall - I just want more of it.

I like the content and users. Could do with more like-minded peeps, but we’re a dime a dozen these days.

Not a big deal but it’s something configurable and if Kapow is ok with it, what do you guys think about changing the default user avatar that is displayed next to comments from the boring old lemmy mouse skull to something more unique for this instance? Maybe an exploding head?

E.g. it would only apply to new accounts on this instance (not federated comments) but display a different default avatar unless user uploads a custom one.

Other than that, really liking the freedom of speech here. If I get some time, then coming up I was thinking about starting a few more niche tech sub if anybody is interested (probably gonna be busy next couple weeks but after that). I like Linux and am a programmer so probably something related to one of those or online privacy. A lot of other places seem to discourage conservatives from those spaces so I thought it might be an interesting experiment to see what happens if you try to have that kind of thing without the rabid left running the show
