Honestly, Herbert Marcuse’s “consumerism” theory is kinda flawed.
Honestly, it’s a good part of the essay, though I have a lot of disagreements with it overall.
Fr if DRPK residents were miserable and oppressed but still getting bread and circuses, they’re doing better than most countries
