I get that. It’s kinda out there as a premise at first, but it works really well. It’s not a 100% faithful adaption and takes some liberties, but it’s very close to the original work by Collodi. The characters are adapted really well and the overall storytelling is a bliss.
If you’re in the market for a new Soulslike and liked Bloodborne and Sekiro, definitely give this a shot
