TD;DR Biden is stepping down and Trump has little competition. No one is going to back Harris and if the 2020 election is anything to go by Trump is going to win. It was so insanely close that any uncertainty will be a win for Trump.
Also I’m pretty sure people aren’t all that happy with Biden. Obama was way more liked as a Democrat
