      I have a fraying cable that is usba on both ends, I can’t fit the appropriate size shrink tube over the connector. I need this product

      Yeah I guess heat-shrink would do the job most of the time. But for when you have connectors that are too big to fit the right heat-shrink over or want to splice more than 2 wires together and want a waterproof seal over them this could be useful.

    Imagine if some brands included strain relief at the expense of thinner, sleeker cables.

        Absolutely! I hate how Apple prioritizes form over function. Definitely not only them, but everyone seems to follow whatever they do…

      Hence why he used veg oil the second time.

      Interesting project. Can’t think of anything where adhesive shrink wrap would not do a better job.

      But worth remembering for odd projects.

    I’m positive I saw a purpose-built stick out there for use in this application. like you can run it through any regular glue gun but you get rubber out the other end
