Idk if I’m just dumb but this is the first time I’m trying to watch the Olympics more closely and it doesn’t seem to be so straightforward. I don’t have a peacock subscription and it seems like NBC is never showing actually live events even ifnthey say live wo I keep seeing things a day late. I know there are other sources for Canada and UK that I’m not familiar with but then I need to mess with VPN stuff, which is fine but then I’ll need to find a good VPN because I don’t usually use one. Anyways any help is appreciated!

We just said fuck it and paid the $8 for a month of Peacock. It wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to find something for free, sifting through innumerable scams and fakes, for the hope of catching a glimpse of maybe one event with commentary in a foreign language before the stream inevitably goes into terminal buffering.

Now, we can see live coverage of just about every event, in HD, with no ads, plus curated highlights, and they’ve even got a nice multiview feature where you can keep an eye on 4 different live events at the same time. I’ll just cancel once the Olympics are over.

This is one of those times where the price they’re asking seems more than reasonable for the quality of content they’re providing.

Hmm when you put it like that, it does seem pretty nice I think I just must have tossed it to the side because of paying infinitely for a service but if you give yourself a limited timeframe then that’s not so bad.
