The Columbus Blue Jackets issued the following statement today on the passing of All-Star forward Johnny Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew.

No other details have been released yet, just that it was an “accident”.
They were both supposed to stand in their sisters wedding tomorrow. Johnny has two young kids.
