I think my favorite overclock was back in the early Conroe days when Intel first released the core m processor. I bought an Asus white book and after assembling everything and doing on a power-on test I immediately powered it off and did a pin modification to force the socket from 100 megahertz front side bus to 133 megahertz front side bus.

It was such a simple modification that netted me significant performance improvements and voided my warranty in the first 5 minutes.

I don’t normally open carry, though to do regularly concealed carry. Have been told by others a few times they were happy I was carrying, made them feel better when we happened to get into a seedy area. Luckily nothing came of it, and hopefully it stays that way forever.

I haven’t done that in a long time.

Most recently I probably overclocked my original playstation portable.

It’s a term in the artist community to refer to characters that are standalone, as in they aren’t from a particular work of fiction, which are in turn stereotypically (but not always) used for purposes of roleplaying.

OC spray, aka ‘oleoresin capsicum spray’, aka pepper spray. People often get it for self defense against humans or bears. The bear version tends to be a much larger and stronger bottle.

Actually yes, my wife bought 6 outdoor chairs this summer (and a matching table) but we didn’t really get the weather to use them.

At least you’ll have more time to work on original characters then. Which you do have, right?

I get that OC can mean lots of things, but I think most people in this thread are willfully misunderstanding you because of preconceived biases about original characters being ‘childish.’

I will instead attempt to engage in good faith. Here is an original character I conceived for a Star Control D&D game I ran. Archivist Ryll Archivist Ryll (pictured at right) is an Yllk who joined the crew after they performed a mission to help him study an anomalous neutron star. He is pragmatic and cheerful, and always game to help out, but dislikes authority figures. He lost his rear legs in an accident involving IDF (interdimensional fatigue). He is shown here in the epilogue of the campaign in his capacity as archivist, assisting with the official documents as the Alliance of Free Stars signs a formal cease-fire with the VUX Admiralty after the Battle of the Sa-Matra and subsequent dissolution of the Ur-Quan Hierarchy of Battle Thralls.

Oatmeal Crackers? Sure. Very nutritious and no sugar. Kind of hard on the dental work though.

I have so many fucking OCs but I’m playing a dangerous game, I already don’t do nearly enough to hide my identity on here. If anyone who knows me irl saw me talking about my iconic character [REDACTED], I’d be screwed.

But yeah I love dreaming up stories and worlds, even though I’ve never really completed a work of fiction 😅 but I always have new drawing ideas or scenarios to entertain myself during a slow workday, by torturing my handmade blorbo.

ETA what I will say about [REDACTED] is that he was a one-off antagonist from a comic I planned to draw, but I ended up liking him more than the main characters. I hadn’t realized until that point but all my characters were pretty straightforwardly cute or silly. He’s a sleazy, rowdy, unkempt man who likes to cause problems just to feel something. It was so fun to come up with ways for him to be a dick and get himself in danger that I don’t think I’ve created a normal cute protagonist ever since.

Here are some examples of OCs I created:

I’m an artist who creates original characters with my very own art blog, and these were made on Apple Freeform recently that you can find here:

You can find the hashtag for Apple Freeform to locate all of these drawings and many more.
