If not recycling, the best would be to just bury it (in a way that won’t pollute the water table).

Obviously they mean bury it in some sort of water-tight container like plastic.
Nah, it would still collect water and pollute, better to burn it at high temps
Burning is the best outcome actually, burrying means it’s going to leech out
