    Anyone else in the USA feel like the political compass of where they were raised tugs in funny ways against the person they have become or choose to be?

    Southeastern suburban Tennessee is a funny little slice of straddling politics and ideologies. Maybe it is my California perspective that is creating a unique lensed perspective.

      Not necessarily the case for myself, but I think what’s you’re describing 100% makes sense.

      I would imagine many folks who were raised one way, and who later decided to identify with a different worldview might feel similarly.
