My wife hates it when I say that, but look at it! Broken. I keep saying, just a toothpick and some scotch tape and we’ve fixed the problem but she won’t let me do it.

Honestly, that ear looks perfect, but the other one needs a massage; it’s too stiff :-)

Sure, I can see it that way. But either both ears should go up or both ears should go down. And my wife refuses to let me try to fix this problem!

Because its adorable and there nothing wrong with him. You don’t “fix” this like you don’t “fix” heterochromia or vitiligo.

But there is no a problem. There’s nothing wrong with him. Makeup “fixes” vitiligo but there’s nothing wrong with it. You should be proud of what you look like.

It doesn’t affect his quality of life or his health, it doesn’t make him deaf or anything that would be fixed by both ears being the same. All it does it make him look like a mutt and disqualifies him from any dogs shows. Which are just superfluous standards that promote actual, debilitating deformities. Look at showdog German shepherds as an example. Poor things can’t even walk because of “aesthetics”. Bulldog and flat faced dog breeds are another famous example. They can’t breathe. They can’t swim. They can’t even reproduce normally.

Your dog isn’t broken. There are no problems. And I’m afraid of any children you may have if you seriously hold views like this.

It’s okay. I tell him how stupid he is all the time. He’s so stupid that he thinks it’s a compliment.

Looks just like our dog. We were told he’s a lab and chihuahua mix by the original owner.

One of my pups is like this, everyone thinks it’s cute, so I never tell them why it’s like this… but, she got her ear bit by an asshole dog. It was clear through. It’s healed now, other than it flops.

After it happened though (and I, unashamedly, kicked the fuck out of the dogs face once I got them separated because the owner wasn’t doing shit( I’m still furious)), she was back to her happy bouncy life. The vet didn’t even have to put her under to clean it, she just… chilled. “Yeah, thanks bro, that was bothering me”

American bulldogs man… they’ll just shrug off anything as long as you’re there with them.

My dog has a “flop ear” too. She had it when we adopted her. I think it’s so cute and I talk to her about it all the time

He had it when we got him at the rescue event, so I knew about the ear right away. I guess I must like it because I keep the little guy around.
