Sooooo, I’m sworn to secrecy about the war criminal in the basement, so I keep looking for an opportunity to take someone with clearance to the side and let them know about the truly nasty shenanigans he’s been up to without breaking OpSec. And I keep looking. And then the quest ends.

As best I can tell, the only way to let anyone know about what I’ve learned is to blab it out in front of people who the state has good reason not to want in on it. In my country of origin, this gets you buried underneath Fort Leavenworth.

Anyone else find this one somewhat devoid of the “right” option? I’m really enjoying this game, but this particular quest strikes me as a missed note.

I ended up telling her at the last opportunity, she was upset but understands opsec. The council are spinless and he just handwaved my technical huge crime lol

Yeah, don’t think I’m going to do the follow-up visit. This wrap-up has me feeling dirty enough, as it is.

I just told what’s her face immediately after it became clear he was likely the perpetrator behind the recent attacks. Because it was just too damn obvious he did it, and it was going to come out anyway if I continued playing the righteous route as I intended. I needed her on my side to convince people he needed to be spaced.

Before he confessed? Did it work, in terms of the council taking it seriously?

Yeah. Like, as soon as we grabbed that slate with the recording at Londonian and opened dialogue with her, I selected the option to tell Hadrian.

Although, I also had a little help from Ryujin in getting things to end the way I wanted.

Hadrian Sanon. I told her before we went to the final mission iirc when she asked where I got all her colleagues info from. Then I told the council about his involvement and they sounded like they were gonna execute him.

I was torn as well, but opted to just tell her. It really isn’t that impactful of a reveal. No feelings are hurt and you don’t have to pull a Snowden and vacation in Russia (forever).

I ratted out when I felt it was morally impossible to keep a secret anymore. Chose to blab during deployment when there was less radio contact.

Surprisingly, Sarah didn’t dislike it ™.

At least during the time I was like, okay, I can have a Medal of Honor and get buried under Leavenworth too. Like, fish tank prison here I come.
