Definitely annoying/pretentious. I can somewhat understand depending on the job type but there are other, better ways to check a candidate’s writing ability if that’s what they’re aiming for.

I guess at least it says it’s only for top priority and that it should be 150 words or less (5 words is less, right?.. who knows maybe they’re looking for brevity lol)
