While I would love to see it, I thought only Northern California was included. LA would not be part of Cascadia.

Oh, I know it does. I would be very happy to have a Cascadian nation state. But the racists really do exist, especially in Oregon and to a slightly lesser extent in Washington. Oregon didn’t even allow black people to settle there after the Civil War. There are still remnants of that present in the culture and ethnic makeup.
