His main promise, “nothing will fundamentally change” proved accurate.

And they wonder why they lost.

I know you’re being sarcastic but that line drove me nuts. Arguably Obama was more progressive. And that’s with a lot of reservations for the drone commander in chief…

More progressive than Bush or Trump, but not progressive.

          • A constitutional lawyer who defended the violation of the the 4th amendment with the NSA/FBI/CIA and prosecuted a whistleblower’s public duty.
          • Only supported gay marriage when public support was in majority. He did support civil unions, but candidates openly supported gay rights in the 1980s, and there was Dennis Kucinich in 2008 saying he had no issues with a transgender member of his cabinet.
          • Obamacare (not that he chose the name, it just stuck because of propaganda) was just a rebranded and toned down version of Mitt Romney’s healthcare coverage in Massachusetts.

He was better than Bush, and much much better than Trump, but Obama:

          • Kept the war on drugs
          • Kept the war on terror
          • Kept the expansions of the federal government from Bush
          • Bailed out corporations for their fuck ups that cripples the world’s economy
          • Ran on closing GitMo but just… kinda gave up when he couldn’t find a court/jail to give them a fair trial and hold them
          • Post office went to drink Flint’s water and said it’s fine, when he drank filtered water, while it’s poor black citizens couldn’t drink the tap water due to several failures of the county/state government.

I would prefer an Obama 3rd term to Trump’s 2nd, but a ham sandwich would be better than Trump.

No argument from me! I don’t call him the drone commander in chief for nothing!

But I do believe obama is more progressive than biden, which isn’t saying much. It’s like saying he’s younger. Well duh he’s younger than a decrepit dinosaur, but he’s not young.

I think his violation of the 4th, filling his cabinet with Goldman Sachs as the economy crashed, continuing Iraq and Guantanamo are all his (least) greatest legacies. I think the 4th in particular will come back to haunt us.

So what he didn’t break, he compromised on.

Glad I voted for the man who let Trump walk free and is giving him the keys to enact his plans without question.

Exactly who of these guys do you describe as a “genocidal wacko”?
