    I tried distro hopping. In the end, I always just came back to Debian like one of those no-place-like-home stories.

      I don’t go back to straight Debian, but generally something Debian-based.

      By that, of course, I mean Kali to continue my on-again-off-again pentesting studies… I know there are other platforms, but that is where I’m comfortable.

      Sadly, my daily driver is fucking Win11 (gaming rig). Why? I work in IT, and MS is killing Win10 so I’ll have to support shitty Win11 soon enough, need to know its quirks to support it. I do miss my Linux build for gaming though.

    I did that for a while to try out everything out there, but after hopping from fedora I somehow always returned. Guess that’s the one.

      I disassemble and reassemble all of my furniture at least once a week, with parts I get from different IKEAs.
      Still haven’t found the best IKEA to source the perfect parts for my furniture, so I keep trying.

    Yeah, did that for some time. Turns out, it gets pretty repetitive if youre just going back to arch every month after trying something else because on everything else you just go through a withdrawal of that feeling of ecstasy and pure hatred every time when your PC takes 0.5 seconds more to boot/update/do anything and you start praying you won’t have to troubleshoot it for the next 5 hours and somehow finish your work by midnight

    I actively used to distro-hop multiple times a day, I would have my steam library on an external hard disk and I was like “I’ll use arch in the morning and Gentoo later”
