You mean the amazing update that pulled Firefox into the modern age and made it like 10 times faster? Which made it a viable option against the other browsers?
Having to rewrite a couple of addons really shouldn’t be an issue. They can’t keep all compatibility for the rest of time.

Didn’t upgrade till my extensions were ported to the new system. That left me vulnerable for a while (security wise)
