Future historians are going to have a field day with the fact that, by making pardoning the participants in his failed 2020 coup attempt one of his first official acts in 2025, Trump clearly signaled his intention of destroying American democracy and justice.
I am not saying Trump is a Russian asset, BUT if sometime in the future we FULLY confirm that the Kremlin profusely funded Trump ventures throughout his life and political ascension, it will be the most obvious intelligence operation in the history of mankind.

This is honestly the best case scenario at this point.
I mean the guy who took a shot at Trump on the campaign trail, the guy who blew up his Tesla at Trump’s hotel in Vegas, they were both trump supporters so there isn’t any waiting needed.
The sad news is that critical mass, and actual personal realization that you’ve been scammed, emotionally internalizing and processing that and then you (or your grandchildren) getting mad enough to join the left and overthrow fascists can take decades if not centuries for a historical opportunity. I’m optimistic that there are still good seeds for it in the US, but the right will be merciless at targeting news orgs, civil rights and legal orgs and eventually individuals they deem who might pose a threat to raising the (good) rabble against them.
Get off your phones and bring human with your neighbors is about the best advice at this point. It will correct eventually, but it’ll get worse before it gets better.
We’re all looking forward to whatever he plans on doing to send himself back to prison, hopefully in a blue state where Trump can’t pardon him.

Didn’t think Trump would do it, didn’t see their use to him. Now I do. He has unleashed an army of leaders. These guys get street cred, no matter how much or how little they did.
These are Trump’s brownshirts. Everything they did from 2016-2021, they’re ready to do more of, and worse.
