Don’t bother upgrading if you’re coming from the RTX 4080 Super.

      Power draw is the main reason I refrain from getting an AMD Card. In every (to me) relevant benchmark I saw a roughly 10-20% increased in power draw from AMD for marginally better performance. It doesn’t really matter if the game runs in 100 or 110 FPS because right now I’m getting 40. If I get a card on par with the 4080 Super like the 7900 xtx, I expect to keep it for 7-10 years (like I did my 1080 TI). This 10-20% difference will add up to more than the price difference between the 4080 super and the 7900 xtx in electricity cost. Also the support for things like stable diffusion from AMD is laughable compared to Nvidia (but this might change in the future).

      At which power draw difference would you spend that money? I’m not their target audience so I completely don’t understand the appeal.
