It takes a lot of time to design a new, official US coin. I’m sure this is a “commemorative” “coin”, worth about the metal it’s printed on, being sold for excessive amounts to rubes. The only thing I’m uncertain about is whether the money goes to the shithead in the White House or some random grifter trying to cash in.

It is a private company ripping people off. The coin is cheap to make but they sell it for like $50 bucks.

The white house is not involved

It is unaffiliated with Trump. These coins have been done long before Trump was ever president.

yes, official us mint coins have been

The US Mint produces two things which should not be confused. They make actual legal US currency coins which hold monetary value based on the “full faith” of the United States as money. These frequently have artwork of past Presidents. The US Mint also produces collectable medals. The medals are not money.

The trump thing you linked is a medal, not money. There is no US currency with trump on it. My understanding is that the only money with US Presidents on it is dead US Presidents. That would exclude trump.

When did I say they were us currency?

You said its a coin, which the only coins the US Mint produces are currency. This is a medal which isn’t a coin. A US Mint created coin is currency.

Tacky, but also the artwork is just flat-out terrible. The ear is sliding down his neck (which, if it were the one hit might make more sense?), and his eye socket is too high and too far forward. Undoubtedly a case of, “you get what you pay for”.

I think it’s a case of a Chinese artist who is accustomed to drawing people with traditionally Chinese facial features, having a crack at a turd wrapped in a sausage casing, rolled in cheese dust, and struggling to distinguish a different set of facial features and is bringing their own lens/technique to it.

Is there chocolate inside? It’s probably really cheap old chocolate with the white film over it.

You remember in 2016 the murder clowns, right before he got elected, right?

Yeah, but I think that was mass hysteria caused by bad PR. Clowns fill an important niche in the ecosystem. They generally keep to themselves and shy away from people. Confirmed clown attacks are extremely rare. Even the 2016 sightings had more to do with development companies expanding into their historic habitat than clowns actively seeking out people. I saw a movie once in which a clown was forced to live in a storm drain after his home was paved over. Starving and panicked, the inevitable happened when he was cornered by a child. Had he been relocated, he could have joined another circus and lived a full life. If you see a clown in town, remain calm. Do not approach the clown. Do not feed it. A fed clown is a dead clown. Contact your local ringmaster. They are especially trained to capture and relocate clowns. If you can, I highly recommend donating to your local clown rescue. As a side benefit, they often have education programs that allow kids to learn about and interact with them safely.

Gold + “god”+ trump = another easy scam on the rubes. You’d think his morons would run out of money at some point, but I guess there are so many it doesn’t matter.

If it as real as the depicted person, it’s made from tin and painted in a cheap gold color.
