I’m not sure where you’re getting your info from. But after 10 years of fast charging an EV’s battery’s will be royally fucked.
But 10 years for a petrol or diesel car is nothing. My last car was 15 years old and ran like a dream until an old biddy pressed the accelerator instead of the brake in her car and wrote mine off.
Do you think burning diesel doesn’t “damage” your engine? Do you think transmissions last indefinitely?
An engine will last a lot longer than your battery cells.
