I find it interesting how I knew there was something going on I couldn’t stop it from looking like a melted dog face. No matter how hard I tried to make sense of what was going on.
Then I look at this and I can see the original picture clearly. I wonder how much our brain distorts on a regular basis that doesn’t get noticed.

I’m going to need even more help because in every orientation all I see is like a horrifically disfigured dog face.
The dog’s face is sideways; what looks like its nose is actually its eye.
I still can’t see anything but a deformed dog.
Took me a good 5 minutes to figure this out. By following the eye that is actually a nose. Then by tilting the phone to the right, the dog is also tilting it’s head. Hard, too hard .
I think I need someone to literally draw on top of this for me to see it how it’s supposed to be seen

I had to keep looking at it before it looked normal. Imprinted itself, so it took a minute.
I feel so foolish after trying to find the hidden “GAY SEX” or “SEND NUDES” messages for a bit too long.

Every fricken time, I have seen this image so many times and every fricken time it takes me so long to see it correctly. Brains are stupid.
I can rotate my phone and see it perfectly, but the instant I rotate back, my brain reverts.
I think it’s partly bc the image is low res. In sharp focus it would be almost immediately apparent that the nose is on the right, but it’s just poor enough that you can’t quite tell why the “right eye” looks funny.
This is what the AI must feel like when it sees adversarial images (really cool subject btw, look it up if you’re not familiar)
Well part of the reason is because there’s a total of 12 pixels in that image.
