Edit: for anybody interested in how to de-tiktok videos, what I’ve been doing is to use a paid no-log VPN with good 3rd party audit record (e.g. PIA, Mullvad, Nord, etc) then use yt-dlp to download the video locally. I did this from a desktop pc then copied to my phone (I don’t have any recommendations for doing it fully from phone yet, sorry) and re-upped somewhere else. I had yt-dlp in a wrapper function but if anyone needs exact command, reply/msg me and I can figure out exactly and post it.
