Literally a thing that happens in Metal Gear Solid(so yeah, B movie) except its the CIA’s CIA that does it and it doesnt actually even manage to properly kill any of the important people in the literal helicopter that it exploded in above open ocean.
Its really funny to me that a point blank IED explosion into an ocean helicopter crash results in literally just a time skip and no named character deaths, so it stuck in my brain.
