A suspect died Thursday after shooting himself while in the back of a Pleasant Prairie Police Dept. cruiser, according to the police department.

Anyone else think it’s mighty sus that someone was able to hold onto a gun in the back of a squad car? Especially someone who was arrested for weapon possession?

At best, this is a tragic suicide that the cops failed to prevent. I worry about the alternatives.
