What is sharing it here going to solve?

Wholly agreed. The NRC recommendations are ridiculously excessive and are blocking the actual creation of nuclear power plants, which are going to become more and more necessary.
Violently American solution to a violently American problem, I guess
This is the sort of stuff which actually can help people.
Nobody’s “turning a blind eye” just because someone doesn’t want to see every single shooting article posted here; we all know Milwaukee has a lot of shootings. You’re just overrepresenting the problem in the community by flooding it with these crap articles that range from passively blaming the victims to actively embarrassing them and their families, and feeding the journalistic demand that keeps making them. They don’t help inform anyone, they just monetize the problem itself.
No, I haven’t. Enlighten me.
Are you gonna do anything to help, or just keep regurgitating FOX6/CBS58 articles about them?
Are there any charitable funds for victims which are stepping in for the family? Shootings are big news, but just hearing about them and doing nothing seems… exploitative.
The shootings everywhere never seem to stop.
This is somehow worse than a regular hot dog.
I’m just having that mental image of the robot fucking a radiator from Robot Chicken.
I’m just waiting for “oops we irradiated the Mississippi River” to happen at this point. When are they actually going to address the issue?
Just because it doesn’t impact you, doesn’t mean it isn’t real.
Stop by Usinger’s in Milwaukee and grab some head cheese. THAT’S pushing the limits of trust.
Delicious pork cheek? Yes. Disgusting pig brains? Also yes.
Usually it’s unflavored gelatin, but technically you can add whatever fat-soluble flavor you want. Chicken, lemon, paprika, squirrel, whatever!
I’m gonna have to cast doubt on this. They aren’t going down without a fight; chances are even if Oneida Co kicks them out, they’ll be back in another iteration somewhere else.
True, but it’s mostly replaced coal generation, with at least one major coal plant that I’m aware of (PPPP in Kenosha County) being completely shuttered and demolished in the last decade. Natural gas generation isn’t clean or carbon-neutral, but it produces significantly less carbon emissions than coal.
True, but that housing supply will be gobbled up by out of state investment buyers and pushed out of affordable range for actual homebuyers without something being done to block them.
No, but they don’t have a militant army of petty bourgeoisie pointing to the 2nd Amendment of their own Constitutions or similar documents, and have been able and willing to ban or heavily regulate ownership of firearms.
I don’t agree with the United States’ gun freedoms, but I also don’t have the power to change them myself.
