Her official cause of death wasn’t revealed. Her diet did seem risky but too early to link it.

I have my doubts, it’s not a great variety I’m nutrients and it wouldn’t be an ideal overall diet, but I am very doubtful that it killed her.

Her diet was severely lacking in vital nutrients. When you have so much fibre and so little dense calories, for a decade, that adds up.

Eh true but considering she didn’t drink water (only coconut) and caught some cholera disease, well, that’s a recipe for disaster. That would be dangerous no matter for how long what kind of diet, cholera dehydrates you fast and you need to replenish electrolytes too.

Yeah but the immediate cause of death will be something else.

As an example, smoking generally does not kill you. It prepares your body to be trivially killed a by a plethora of other things, such as cancer or 2 tons in the face when you were distracted while driving because your cig well into your lap. But the smoking itself isn’t the proximate cause of the death.

She probably just didn’t eat enough. Apparently she only ate jackfruit. You can definitely stay healthy with fruit and veggies but you need to eat a lot of it and take B12 supplements. Especially if you don’t eat high carb food like potatoes or rice, since most vegetables aren’t very energy dense.
