Ok couple of things here;

1. I don’t see Lemmy design flaws fixable over the long term, the developers could invest into improving a lot of aspects of Lemmy, but basically you can’t change the design after you already had semi- finished the software.
2. I don’t do Drama, sorry to disappoint you on this front, but from my experience discussing the problems with the developers usually don’t held any results, especially on major changes(I am talking here from my experience with other services).
3. I am not looking to change anyone mind, neither get convinced by Lemmy.
4. I am asking for any general recommendations, without any specific preference.

I hope this clears things to you from my side.

Browsers and Operating Systems are pretty senstive pieces of software. Any developer that show lack of knowledge in securing them, should not be trusted, foss or not.

That is unacceptable when it comes to browsers.

You are putting all your trust in someone who does not know how security works.

With all due respect to your opinion, for people who used to use Discord, Matrix simply was never a alternative.

A much better suited alternative to Discord is Revolt.

Next up they might test making the whole first page for ads, and the pages after that for search results.
