Painful as it is, the shooters aim was fine. A 3mph breeze blew the bullet off course the moment he fired. We got horribly unlucky (or there is an evil god)

~150 yards, wobbling target, small window of opportunity, and multiple well-trained counter-snipers lining you up, and you have to hit the head.
