Why do we still deal with gendered bathrooms in 2025?

Just get a specific urinal room, and mark the rooms with stalls as “WC”.

Interestingly, SEATAC airport has started doing exactly that in (at least Concourse D). It’s one big long hallway with sinks on one wall and floor-to-ceiling doors for the toilets. And a separate room off to the back with a sliding door for urinals. They’ve got enough toilets that wait times aren’t too atrocious

I agree with you in theory, but as a dude who has had to take a dump after a long flight I really appreciate the shorter line

Women’s washrooms tend to have longer lines than men’s, and also tend to have dirtier toilets.

Most airlines won’t let passengers take dumps on the plane after the flight.

My bad if you were making a joke though lol

Yeah, but you can usually use it during the flight. Is it a common situation to only have to poo once you leave the plane? Because this is not something I’ve had to worry about.

I mean, you often have to spend a bit of time at the airport after a flight, 1-2 hours waiting for your luggage isn’t too uncommon. Is it really that hard to believe people have to poop during this time without having had to poop on the airplane?
