To be fair, i doubt the boys were doing this with malign intent or even based on misogyny.
They were 12-14yrs old, they were probably just goofing around like the dumb lil shits they are, and thinking this to be super funny. And there’s only one thing worse than a young boy: a group of them.
Sure they need to be punished for that, and they need to be taught what such actions might actually do to the girls (which i bet they haven’t thought of for a second).
At least the parents should do this, but they mostly fail anyway, not even understanding what is going on.
So parents and schools need to be educated about MODERN dangers like AI.
And that actions perceived as harmless can have tremendous consequences. Especially with new technology for which no clear rules were ever established so far. Or just rudimentary.
