Bold move to make a movie 12 years after the franchise popularity peaked. It’s probably safe to assume the jokes are going to be variations on “bad ass” and butt jokes for 2 hours?
If Butt Stallion is in it, expect it to be funny for 15 minutes and then tell the same joke for the next hour and a half.
Has all the makings of a hollywood shitshow. Can already tell just from the names attached, they are doing the old “shove as many celebrity names in there as possible and people will see it” scam.
I finally got around to playing it last year - still pretty fun.
Why do they look so clean? The BL universe is gritty, and they look like they are ready to step onto a catwalk.
Probably the same reason as why they would do stuff like this during the peak of the teenage female protagonist dystopian future genre, whatever reason they came up with for that.
