I’ve got Against the Storm and I played it a bit, then my son said something like “isn’t this just a worse version of dwarf fortress” and I’ve not really recovered from that yet
I mean, there’s inspiration and elements from Dwarf Fortress, but it’s absolutely its own gem of a game. It sounds like your son needs to sit down to play and then wonder where the last 12 hours went himself!
You let your son talk to you about your games like that?
