I compulsively bullet jump and roll and slide like a madman. Ivara wants me to not do that, so I don’t use her.

I’ve gotten into the habit of Void Slinging everywhere. It’s really fast, easier on my hands, and IMO easier than precision bullet-jumps. Though I get it that is definitely not for everyone. Still, it’s nice being able to keep up with speedy players now.

The first “utility” frame I farmed. At that point I think I had Volt, Rhino, and maybe one other. When I finally built Ivara and went invisible for the first time I was absolutely hooked. You spend so much of the game flying through levels and gunning everything down indiscriminately, but with her you have to slow down and take a methodical approach. Was a cool experience as a low MR player to see that other styles of play were supported AND viable.

One of my favourite frames, I just wish she was more playable outside solo play as squads tend to run ahead of her even using tricks like amalgam barrel diffusion and wrathful advance.

I remember getting my second frame, wasn’t exactly a utility frame but I had made mistakes when I started so it definitely felt much better. Started with Loki a long time ago when it was possible to start with him. Ground out Rhino when I had very shoddy internet… I had to do it solo.

I consider Ivara the Swiss Army Knife Warframe. If there’s some miscellaneous task to be doing (mining, fishing, Riven challenges), Ivara’s the one I’ll use. She’s versatile and useful. Her headshot bonus from her stealth, and Navigator shenanigans, begin to shine if you’re ever up against any tough single target enemies where it matters (Disruption/Cascade)

Still my go-to for spy missions, but unfortunately doesn’t see much use outside of it

Ivara was never a frame I enjoyed much. The movement restrictions on her Prowl make her way too slow for my liking. I would much rather bring a tanky frame and blast away than slowly creep through missions, hunting heads with her bow. She is very safe to play though, and for people who like to take the game a bit more slowly, she is one of the best picks. Probably the 2nd best pick for killing Archons as well!
