Live service in 2024 feels like a buzzword for, “don’t worry investors this game will make a boatload of money while also providing a steady revenue.”
Most time it means “we’re shutting down the servers a year after launch”
I hate how common this is now. I’m currently playing Fire pro wrestling world. It came out in 2016 and the servers are still up and I can easily jump into online matches
They have now been renamed to Bend over studios because they are going to try to fuck you with stupid services that add nothing
Fucking hell, the first game was so good too. All they had to do was build up on the original! Maybe a bigger map with more dangerous rest stops to make biking feel like a bigger deal.
