I used to be really into Battlebit but the mechanics are so incredibly tilted towards high mobility players that it breaks the entire game. The only possible counter to high mobility players with SMGs is to try to force them into a medium range fight from a relatively static position and you get IMMEDIATELY sniped when you do that.
I realized when playing Halo Infinite that there is just so much more subtle complexity to firefights, battles can happen up close, or at distance and circumstances don’t just always favor the player mindlessly rushing with an smg and c4. Snipers can be forced out of their scope if you land suppressing shots on them.
sigh just mad Battlebit became such a narrowly catered game to a specific niche of players and the community in general has become more and more toxic to criticisms along this line over time.
I have been loving Halo Infinite though, damn Halo multiplayer has never been better, and I played the shit out of Halo 1,2 and 3.
Motor Town and Halo Infinite Multiplayer.
