After Elon Musk fired Tesla’s Supercharger team, the fate of the EV charging network is unknown. There are 25,000 charging ports in the U.S. alone.

Again, this is coming literally right before 2025 models for multiple different brands (such as Nissan & Toyota) are switching to the new standard based on Tesla’s superchargers.

“Hm, this thing which should be a major cost to us that will open us up to profits in the future is actually operating so smoothly that it’s expanding the market and turning a profit already. Better fuck it all up.”

I assume burning it down because he’s mad he blew his massive lead in the US market and now wants to ruin it all, who fucking knows. It’s annoying as fuck.

From what I read around he threw a tantrum because the woman in charge of the network complained about the lack of people and investment… and decided to lay off everyone, including her. Probably to show who’s the boss.

Please, please don’t tell me that the one single positive thing El Muskrat has contributed to the electric car market is being flushed down the toilet

Yeah I don’t understand I can only assume either massive incompetence (somewhat likely) or malice eg if he thinks he might be ousted from the company or something. This one makes the most sense imo fml 🤦‍♂️

Never considered the burn it down angle. He’s in bed with the Saudis and a few other shady fuckers and it wouldn’t be out of character to say screw em and do something dramatic.
