Oh I forgot to mention something from the kiddos music students performance thingo on the weekend which I noticed. 95-05 era fashion is BACK!! The kids looked like they were transported directly from my youth. Baggy/grungy looks are in, which pleases me as it was the most comfortable time to look cool.

Can confirm. My kids are all about loose and comfy wear.

Big jeans, big jumpers. Even a touch of flannel.

I got me some cargo pants the other week, they’re back in and the extra pockets are so practical.

Deiwos is very upset right now lol

        Tuesday

Old English tiwesdæg, from Tiwes, genitive of Tiw “Tiu,” from Proto-Germanic *Tiwaz “god of the sky,” the original supreme deity of ancient Germanic mythology, differentiated specifically as Tiu, ancient Germanic god of war, from PIE *deiwos “god,” from root *dyeu- “to shine,” in derivatives “sky, heaven, god.” Cognate with Old Frisian tiesdei, Old Norse tysdagr, Swedish tisdag, Old High German ziestag.

I don’t know what is up with the lady who lives next door in the disability housing, but every damn day I hear her dry retching. Full on HUAUGH! multiple times in a row, echoing in the alley.

So glad I don’t get nauseous from hearing someone retch. And my partner, who does get sick from hearing it, is a bit deaf so he can’t hear her. Idk how he can’t hear her, she’s audible to me even when I’m inside.

    HUAUGH HUAUGH

Some disabilities come with chronic nausea 👍 Or something like cyclic vomiting syndrome. Probably the simplest explanation.

Still not fun to hear, sounds distressing. I swear Aussie builds are so shit and close together

It went ok-ish. I stumbled at the tech question. So we’ll see.

That’s ok though, another on Thursday with a different place and that’s pure account management.

Feels like I’m disconnected. Trying to remember that my emotions and all that are always there even if my anxiety is blocking me, and that even if it feels impossible I can step back from the parts of my brain that are misfiring. And it works, I can do it. But then it fades away and my brain is desperate for this big “click” moment where everything locks into place and it’s not getting that.

Getting the feeling todays gonna be a grab bag of compromises and “that’ll have to do”.

I know what you mean by the click moment. Anxiety is a thief that tries to steal our confidence. Some days all you feel like you’re doing is chipping away at slivers of victory and completion. It sucks, but it’s ok. A day of some small wins is still a day worth having.

There’s a pizza place near me open until 1am. So if you order a pizza after midnight you can get the Tuesday special.

One of the benefits of ordering online. I don’t know if they’d allow it if you called or went in store

Success! I helped this business getone of their Facebook pages under their business portfolio. They had been trying to do this for months and it seemed like they had done everything.

I thought I may not be able to do it because what could I try they haven’t? But I did it.

This might lead to a bit more work back in the musical instrument wholesale industry. Working in a space you care about really makes a difference

What I think confused them is the Business Portfolio had a similar name to the page, so maybe they didn’t realise there was a difference.

On this page you can see who has access and what business portfolio a page is under https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=profile_access

The business portfolio id is used as part of the URL for Facebook Business Centre, so I replaced the id for a business centre I had access to with the problem business portfolio. Fortunately they still had access to that business portfolio and could accept the request to disconnect that page from the old portfolio, opening it up to joining a new one.

This only worked because they had access. We would still be stuck if it was controlled by someone else

My sheets still haven’t budged. The last update is they were “in transit” in my suburb 6 days ago. I was having them redirected to the post office, and I’m in the same suburb as my LPO, so I wonder if the redirection label just wasn’t applied well and someone got confused and tried to deliver it to my house where it was initially sent.

I hope they don’t lose my sheets though, because couriers please lost my heater the week before. I just want pakig :(

I forgot how good real coffee is! First time I’ve had a non-maccas coffee in about 2 weeks and MY GOD it was incredible. I audibly moaned, I WISH that was a joke.

The 7-eleven coffee is far better than it has any right to be for $2. Plus you can reliably obtain it when real coffee shops have closed.
I don’t think I’ve ever moaned while sipping it, but you make allowances for the price.
