Ghulam Mohammad Baksh Butt (22 May 1878 – 23 May 1960), commonly known by the title Rustam-e-Hind and by the ring name The Great Gama, was a pehlwani wrestler and strongman in British India and later, Pakistan. In the early 20th century, he was an undefeated wrestling champion of British India.
True. But you have to remember in the mid90s I had no way of seeing his older work. I was 12, and nowhere near a hardcore fan enough to know what tape trading was.
Even now, I guess there might be stuff on the network, or youtube, but you’d have to know where to look.
no i hear that; i was born in 80 so although i grew up with jcp/wcw i only really remember watching it from about 87 on. i’d say my earliest memory was zbyszko in very early 90s (90/91) which was at the tail end of his career but still very good.
