    I suspect that race issues helped lead to the discrediting of IQ tests which helped lead to college degrees as the sole determinant of worth which helped lead to everyone having to go to a four-year college which helped lead to massive debt crises, poverty, and social immobility (I am assuming you can fill in the holes in this argument).

    Q: why are so many people struggling economically today?

    Normal people: billionaires are hoarding money, crashing the economy, and have dismantled all social safety nets so millions are stuck doing shitty jobs they cannot decline.

      What do you mean “crashing the economy”? GDP is doing great! Line go up! Just keep staring at the NASDAQ composite and you will surely be able to afford a house by the time it hits $20k.
