A little while back, my hometown’s mayoral election was decided by a difference of just 5 votes. Unfortunately, the candidate I didn’t like won the election. I didn’t live there anymore and wasn’t able to vote, but it really showed me the importance of voting at all levels of government.
“My child, I will only be dictator on day one.”
Aah I see. So what’s for day 2, Queen? Emperor? God?

Outside state-level things, it really doesn’t.
Although, here in Missouri, an abortion ban, a $15 minimum wage, and a Republican candidate for governor who would refuse to implement both if passed are all on the ballot, so yes, GTFO and vote.

It’s only a $13 minimum wage, because $15 we already voted for got shot down by the state congress.
This reminds me of my favorite blurb I’ve found while browsing Memory Alpha:

Technically two votes would matter. Because in this scenario, your vote would’ve led to a tie. So you’d need someone else to break the tie.

I just would like to point out that the US will be fine in the long run regardless of the results.
Becoming worked up or even violent over a presidential election is not a good idea.
