I’ve been kicking around an idea these last few weeks and I figured it was time to get community input:
We already have Meme Monday, and as wrestling fans, we’ve all played “armchair booker” at some point. So how would you wrestlefriends feel about “Fantasy Booking Friday”? Every Friday, a challenge would be presented for a fictional storyline or premium live event. Challenges can be realistic, comedic, or somewhere in between, as can submissions.
Example challenges:
Realistic: How would you book a WCW vs WWF show in 1995? Extra stipulation: Vince refuses to let any his guys wrestle Hulk Hogan, how would WCW counter?
Comedic: Using a wormhole in time, Paul Heyman books an ECW vs GCW show. Extra stipulation: Paul E. is forced to make chicken salad out of chicken shit when he realizes the wormhole connects only to WWECW.
In between: Tony Khan announces the new “AEW Jobber Division”, with it’s own championship. Extra stipulation: only wrestlers with negative win/loss records are eligible, meaning the Jobber Champion will have to forfeit the title if they have too many successful defenses.
Would you guys be interested in this? Or at least trying it out for a few weeks?
